Memory and Melting are hands down their best albums tho imo.

A few of the music shows get streamed simultaneously on YouTube. SBS MTV The Show does, Music Bank I'm p sure does. And the ones that don't are hella easily found streamed elsewhere, there's a channel on twitch I use to watch all the others tbh.

There's plenty of competition shows that do get subbed and uploaded to like Viki or KOCOWA the next day, they have no Mnet programs that I can think of, though. I can't think of any Mnet program that has been officially localized in North America actually, lmao. I think VIU gets Mnet programs, though. It's an Asian streaming service, but since there's plenty of countries where English is a predominant language that's often an option. I'm pretty sure that's where most of the sub scene will rip subs for shows like Queendom, though a lot of them are also fansubs. I pirate the poo poo that isn't made available on Viki/KOCOWA. Or just suck it up and deal with only being able to understand maybe half of what anybody is saying. That said! VODs of performances almost always get uploaded the same day for music competition shows, so if you're not actively watching something like Queendom but just want to see the perfs, that poo poo is available asap.

Anybody watch the Blackpink concert stream? Seemed like a lot of it was pre-recorded but I enjoyed it. I think I've listened to that live album they put out more than any of their other projects - their sound works great with a live band imo.

Blackpink show thoughts Good: Performances were all great. Best the girls have sounded live IMO, especially Rose and Jisoo. The ballad was a highlight. Solo songs were all really good. . Rose’s song is pretty solid if a bit unsurprising. Jennie’s new rap verse was cool. Lisa’s cover was great. Jisoo’s was my favorite. Band. They killed as always and make the songs better flat out. Stage production was insane. Ddu Du in particular was nuts. Bad: Streaming experience was mediocre. For the cost and YouTube’s infrastructure the video quality was bad and the audio was really compressed. Other companies free concerts were just as good or better in this respect. The camerawork was generally ok but everything was really underexposed like it was on the late show appearance earlier this week. It’s a shame they put all that work in and it was so hard to see and appreciate. It wasn’t a “live” concert, at least not fully. Some obvious cuts and prerecorded stuff but that’s a minor semantic gripe. Overall I hope they put out a Blu-ray/cd because I’d love to have these tracks in high quality.
