Looke posted:is it supposed to emphasis that it's a parentheses of 'oval office' A while ago some neonazis made a chrome app called "echo" iirc, that was basically a database of jewish people, and "race traitors" and which would automatically enclose any instance of those names online in brackets. So if you were on the bbc news site with the app installed it'd look for names in the database and render them as ((((name)))) so that you, a hypothetical web nazi, would know not to trust the content. Hardcore clicktivists started enclosing their own handles in brackets because y'know... makes them look like they're doing something to oppose nazis i guess.

As a single-issue voter this time round (the issue being gently caress Brexit and punish the idiots who caused it), I'm probably going to vote labour this election for the first time in my life. The lib dem policy of holding another loving referendum is so unbelievably stupid that it deserves to go down in flames. They had one job, to articulate a clear position as the anti-Brexit party, and they blew it.

MrL_JaKiri posted:After Andrew Neil was on PM earlier, he said pretty much whatever he asked her she just went on about Corbyn and Brexit. Considering he's a huge Tory and unlikely to press her on anything it's probably going to be a weak, soundbite-ridden interview. Also the News at 6 opened with May's irritated 'Nothing has changed!' and went on with a story about a kindly old dear and her nearly tearful son who will be hit by the social care changes. The Tories staked this election on Theresa May's personal brand, and now it's wobbling. It's great.
