They did the same thing with Seinfeld. You wouldn't think it would be that big a deal, but it's surprisingly irritating to watch when everything is just a little too close and Kramer's head keeps bumping into the top of the frame.

Clearly these folks haven't been involved in high level money laundering before. You get it dubiously appraised for the higher value, then donate it to a museum and take a charitable donation tax credit, while getting the PR bonus of appearing to be charitable. Then you sell it for even more because it was in a museum.
