And all of a sudden Rhys Webb proves himself to be Tyma's greatest friend and the Ospreys score two tries in about five minutes. Plus Hanno Dirksen is amazing

I don't watch a lot of Ospreys but when I do I'm always impressed by Owen Watkin, he looks a serious prospect. The rugby world should crowdfund a hitman to take George Clancy out

Clancy is a total clown as usual. Very tight here at Ravenhill, particularly enjoyed Trimble lighting up Ringrose but Leinster have came up here and stole results before so I'm not getting too excited.

Bath almost seem to be signing players so other teams can't. There is no direction in the team and the saying players win matches but teams win championships has never been truer.

Hooper having to retire, Ford's hangover from the world cup, Burgess-gate and smaller injuries to their influential players has really hurt them. I'm not sure that it'll get better next year, they seem to be losing several of their more stable home grown guys.

The Rabbi T. White posted:I thought he was given his spot back in the squad now he has returned from injury? If not, good. Nope. His last test match was during the truncated 2015 edition of the Rugby Championship against the Springboks in Jo'burg, before he was dropped going into the Rugby World Cup due to a combination of poor form and 3 players in the squad capable of playing at fullback that were simply playing far better than him (Ben Smith, Nehe Milner-Skudder and Colin Slade). The 2016 squad has not been named this year, so while there are incumbent players in various positions (like Moody, Coles, Franks, Retallick, Whitelock, Kaino, Read, the Smiths and Savea), there isn't an All Blacks squad at the moment. edogawa rando fucked around with this message at 19:57 on May 6, 2016 |

Eddie Jones has called up players to a training camp in preparation for the one-off test against Wales and the 3-test tour of Australia. Players from the Saracens, Exeter, Wasps and Leicester were excluded due to their place in the Premiership play-offs. Hookers Dylan Hartley (Northampton Saints) Tommy Taylor (Sale Sharks) Props Kieran Brookes (Northampton Saints) Paul Hill (Northampton Saints) Joe Marler (Harlequins) Kyle Sinckler (Harlequins) Locks Dave Attwood (Bath Rugby) Charlie Ewels (Bath Rugby) Courtney Lawes (Northampton Saints) Loose Forwards Jack Clifford (Harlequins) Teimana Harrison (Northampton Saints) Matt Kvesic (Gloucester Rugby) Chris Robshaw (Harlequins) Halfbacks Danny Care (Harlequins) Micky Young (Newcastle Falcons) Five-Eighths Danny Cipriani (Sale Sharks) George Ford (Bath Rugby) Midfielders Luther Burrell (Northampton Saints) Jonathan Joseph (Bath Rugby) Back Three Mike Brown (Harlequins) Mike Haley (Sale Sharks) Alex Lewington (London Irish) Semesa Rokoduguni (Bath Rugby) Anthony Watson (Bath Rugby) Marland Yarde (Harlequins) Utility Back Ollie Devoto (Bath Rugby) If you're a winger or a fullback from those teams, I can't imagine the number of players in that position at the camp will be particularly encouraging. All other positions look like a player or two short. Not sure what Marler is doing there, as he was poo poo at the World Cup and poo poo in the 6 Nations. His discipline has appeared to have collapsed as well. edogawa rando fucked around with this message at 20:57 on May 8, 2016 |

Scotland's squad for the tour of Japan in the Summer. PROPS: Alasdair Dickinson William Nel Rory Sutherland Moray Low HOOKERS: Ross Ford Stuart McInally Fraser Brown 2ND ROWS: Jonny Gray Richie Gray Tim Swinson BACK ROWERS: John Barclay David Denton John Hardie Josh Strauss Ryan Wilson Backs SCRUM HALVES: Greig Laidlaw Henry Pyrgos FLY HALVES: Finn Russell Ruairdh Jackson CENTRES: Alex Dunbar Peter Horne Duncan Taylor WINGERS: Sean Maitland Damien Hoyland Tommy Seymour Tim Visser FULL BACK: Stuart Hogg Pretty much as expected though Sam Hidalgo-Clyne has dropped out and is replaced by Henry Pyrgos at scrum-half and Damian Hoyland seems to have impressed enough at Edinburgh to get in on the wing. No Matt Scott or Mark Bennett at centre either though Bennett has had trouble getting back to his RWC form since last year. The only bad thing is that it still shows the lack of depth in Scotland, if any of those players were to pick up an injury it'd be pretty hard to replace them and stay close to the same level of skill. Ah well, here's hoping to a good tour. E: Apparently Bennett is out to allow him to be considered for the Rio GB 7s. Vaders Jester fucked around with this message at 15:15 on May 9, 2016 |

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/36244582 The arch-oval office of rugby strikes again, this time Boudjellal has said he won't pay Halfpenny if he's away on tour with Wales. Which will be interesting as I'm pretty sure that violates not only his contract but probably French and EU law as well. I look forward to him getting told to shut the gently caress up. Again.

It's a moot point now, as Halfpenny's not been called up by Wales. But, in something bound to ruin Tyma's day, Eli Walker has been bought a plane ticket to New Zealand so he can go and have a look around Hobbiton whilst the real players try to throw a ball around.

Yeah, dug through The Ospreys facebook updates and found : “Justin is recovering well following the concussion suffered playing for Wales against Italy three weeks ago, but in the light of his symptoms the specialist advice is that it is in his best interests to take his time returning. “A prolonged three-month period of recovery rules him out of the rest of the season for the Ospreys and the Wales tour to New Zealand. The focus for Justin will be on getting healthy and fit, ready for pre-season.”
