Wireless radio transmission is just not the optimal method for high-bandwidth transmission that is unique to every person, like internet access. The air is a single wire.

That is really different than calling it a limitation of the laws of physics. The wireless spectrum is really poorly used for the modern world because it wasn't planned ahead. Changing it now all at once is impossible but it's not like the physical properties of radio waves are what are limiting our internet speeds and coverage. Some alien on some other planet has way better internet on their space phone at our exact technology level just because they allocated spectrum better or were more aggressive about reclaiming it.
