Action Comics sure was a double shipping comic that felt like a huge weight lifted when quit. Only, I'll need to buy two more issues for the crossover :/ From the last post of the last page: Is it news that JRjr is on Suicide Squad from these solicits?

I can see disliking the story on Supergirl, but I thought the art was great, very simple and cartoony without veering into silly, kind of in the Kirby/Timm/Cooke vein with a touch of fashion drawings, though maybe that's just the colouring? (I actually like the story but then I've been into the new Supergirl's twist of the story by having her actually be homesick since the first New 52 arc, which I loved.) The single-shipping actually does make Superwoman an easier rationalisation to myself, though. "It's only £2 a month, I've spent way more on much worse poo poo". If it double-shipped I'd probably have bowed out around about where I bailed on Action.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some line in dcs (or Marvel's for that matter) contracts about not overly disparaging the companyv and naturally that means whatever they need it to mean at any given time

I bought Justice League vs Suicide Squad on a whim, and I'm impressed that it wasn't a pile of rear end. I guess it helps that unlike the hero vs hero stuff of Marvel's events, these guys don't need much of a reason to fight each other. Raven was mediocre. I was hoping to finally get some really good content with her again, but the more I read it, the more I come to the conclusion that George Perez was probably the bigger reason why New Teen Titans was as good as it was. Superman was good as expected, I enjoyed the Frankenstein family as a bit of a foil to Superman's family.

The checklist doesn't say anything besides Justice League and Suicide Squad are getting tie-in issues, though a bit of it showed up in Batman #13 but it wasn't vital or anything.
