That's not much to pay for a pretty good defenceman in Hjalmarsson, but why is it Phoenix picking him up? I guess they figure they can get more for him at the deadline next year? Murphy is signed for 5 more years at $3.85M. This isn't even a cap saving move for Chicago. What?
