Hello Mafia friends, Today I just confirmed I will be starting a new job! Unfortunately, this means my days of insane constant effortposting will be coming to an end, since this job may actually want me to do stuff. I hope it'll be a decent tradeoff, though. After Riven I'll continue going cold turkey on regular Mafia till my 3 month probation is over. I'm sure I won't be able to stay away any longer than that, but I'll have to be more of a catch-up lurker who's probably not around for deadlines anymore. I'll just try and view it as playing on increased difficulty, maybe? I just want to say thank you to everyone who has endured all my slapfights and taunting and insults and spamming over these last couple years, and given me so many fun memories in return. (Yes, even you.) I actually love this community a lot and will really miss having as much time to shitpost.

For our baseline, we went off a 17-man setup where the town's only power role is Cop with a night 0 check - and in that setup (over a sample size of 100+ games) the town wins only 43.6% of the time. So we made setups here where we felt the town power would be equal to that cop role. If you'd note, there aren't any REALLY powerful town power roles in these setups, no cops, no full vigilantes. And many of the power roles are statistically more likely to never get a useful result than they are to get one. ______ Re: your participation this year, the deadline for choosing a rep is May 1.
