A Curvy Goonette posted:loafing. so im trying to figure why these pictures always come out so grainy. this is from an iphone 4, with pretty good lighting and no digital zoom. i use the imgur app to upload them, which automatically compresses them but even the raw photo doesn't look very good compared to other iphone pics itt. is there a setting somewhere i'm not seeing? all of the pictures are saved as jpegs in the phone storage

yeah i think it's just darker than you are realizing where your cat is loafing, bird iphone 4 has a pretty good sensor in daylight, and just good in low light (like all phones)

Also your camera's going to be thinking everything is way darker because it's exposing for a black cat, and it's literally trying to make your cat come out grey by cranking the iso up.
