I love the idea that it took them ages to figure out what hundreds of people were doing in 2013 by LTI laundering, mind you it's possible it's true as the CIG community staff is all new and gifting/melting/buying with credit to get LTI, regifting was dumb as hell even by normal Star Citizen standards of dumb.

Whew, that guy really dodged a bullet on that one, CIG is completely within their rights to charge him for another person's chargeback

Thank you. That's more than can be said about the Dalek my boss tried to knit. It really wasn't that difficult a pattern, but she's one of the worst knitters I've ever seen. She had to rip it out and begin again several times, and even at that, she completely hosed it up. Instead of the neat panels created by the knit stitches (with the black bobbles) and the purl stitches in between, she somehow either skipped or repeated a step, and her panels were all skewed looking. It was also about three times too big, and she couldn't figure out how the base was supposed to go together. I shrugged and pretended I had no idea how to fix it.

Yesterday she came in with a particularly hideous scarf she was making on needles far too big, so the scarf is more like a net than anything either practical or pretty. (I guess that makes it an ideal contender for a space scarf?)

The sad part is she thinks she's actually good at it. I don't understand how people can be so blind. I know I'm a reasonably gifted knitter, but I've had too many fuckups of my own to pretend I'm one of the best knitters in the world and have been ever since I was a little girl.

Impressive stuff that you attempted such a thing, I didn't even know you could do that! And you shouldn't worry about the pictures looking bad, Star Citizen has just made you numb to the value of JPEGs, that's all.

I can have pretty pictures of fake things or ugly pictures of real things. Sad.

Too bad I no longer have the hat or scarf; I could redo the photos. Oh well.

Moebius scarf:

Klein bottle hat:

The Moebius scarf has a pattern of figure eight knots, alternating facing in or out since that was the only way I could make it reversible. The Klein bottle hat has the same pattern in the widest parts with infinity signs spaced throughout the decreasing areas.
