If you decide to skip them you should know at one point there was discussion of startrek deep fakes porn and I got a good reaction when I posted "Deep Frakes".

Wait that might have been a different startrek thread. Nevermind.

One time i prank called a bear buildin workshop and said I wanted my mamaws ashes put in a teddy from where she loved them things so well... The woman on the phone did not skip a beat. She just said, "Brang her on down here. We've did it before."
Just O'Brien yourself into spending 30 years reading posts but actually it's just 20 minutes.

Not the worst usecase for that technology. Is that how they educate their citizens do you think?

Wonder if there's a stigma for spending your life in "real time".

Hell, I'd want it available for recreational use. Don't feel like going to work this morning? Plug yourself into a beach resort simulation and spend a year relaxing! Then come back to reality, go to work, and try like hell to remember your workstation password, or your co-workers' names.

It's either the most functional society or the least functional.

Maybe they'll be back in discovery and they will make Michael cry.

They should have stolen the tech and used it on O'Brien again to give him the equivalent of a year's worth of therapy.

Or torture him even more. Either or.

It don’t make no sense that low gravity lady wouldn’t be able to return home after her high gravity treatments. Like possibly she couldn’t move back permanently, but people live in space for long periods of time without just suddenly exploding irl.

This isn't even the same situation, a person used to high gravity would be unusually strong and fast compared to organisms adapted to lower gravity. That's the security chick(s) from The Orville type of deal.

Oh no I can't go home, I will just be too strong

To give the episode SOME semblance of credit, astronauts spending too much time in zero g has bad affects on their health, and on Orville the first security chick even had to go home because her time in low gravity took its toll.

It’s absolutely ridiculous though that the episode presents this as “you can NEVER go back home. EVER.” when even the tiniest amount of logic should tell you the worst that would happen is her super strength and wolverine bones would just deteriorate to what they were before.

Search the forums for the phrase and it only seems to be used by Super Smash Bros fans and people being obsessive and creepy about Pick.
