Deified Data posted:Yeah as soon as the first ep dropped and the initial reactions were "this is kinda gross" the show became a chud favorite over night. You literally see them comparing it to Berserk which is just... the whole concept is just suffering porn, it’s terrible and makes no sense from start to finish. Netflix absolutely has a chud on staff

Yeah, 'liking goblin slayer' is a really loving strong indication that the person is a nazi or other form of closely related chud. The entire premise is that the genocidal protagonist and his allies are the only people who sees the truth that goblins aren't just an annoyance, but a scourge to be exterminated from the earth. They then give the goblins the standard racist boogeyman traits: they're filthy, thieving, produce nothing, worship weird and evil religions, breed like rabbits, and most of all want to rape and knock up good white women. Between fascist over and undertones and playing sexualized violence against women for erotic effect, it's zero wonder nazis love it.

And also I believe they paid for Joe Rogan's lame "Triggered" comedy set. Somebody approving new shows at Netflix is a real chud. Also Netflix is very much about The Algorithm and like YouTube they've probably identified terminally-online chuds as a rich audience vein worth mining.

Molyneux is a weirdly compelling speaker and can make stupid nonsense sound reasonable to the impressionable. Honestly I'm surprised he let Peterson take that niche from him. Wonder how he feels about that.

I've been wondering for a while now how Netflix is able to fund all these shows/movies? I remember back in the day when stuff like Orange is the New Black and House of Cards were rare and the "Netflix Original Series" was supposed to be a seal of quality. But now they've like a billion series/movies under their belt. I was legitimately stunned at the number. Now, I know they're a big company, sure, but haven't they been bleeding money for like the past 5 years?
