Between Stafford and Dak, I will never understand TFF's obsession with bad QBs who get lots of fantasy garbage time points.

Stafford is 100% playing for WFT next year.

Stafford's led plenty of insane comebacks.

Somewhere, a bunch of old Houston Oilers fans just started thinking of Mike Renfro’s non-catch in one of those AFC Championship games and got really upset. There’s an NFL Films clip from their coaches booth, which includes a young Wade Phillips, and they all went nuts.

This was the season after the holy roller too, had they not already prohibited forward fumbles?

Then again, maybe they didn’t have that rule yet and after the holy roller refs just said gently caress it who cares.

I think...

Watson in New Orleans
Darnold in Atlanta
Stafford on the Colts

are the best fits. Darnold being in Atlanta and working with Matt Ryan and the former Titans OC who worked with Tanny along with the WR Core would give him best chance to turn it around. Watson in NO gives him best chance to win and not waste his time plus the Cap is not real though I don't think NO can stay together for long.

Dak seems fine in Dallas so I don't see him moving around.

I can’t imagine a package that would let NO get Watson even completely ignoring the cap, and the cap might actually be real next year, especially since the Saints can’t restructure Brees

He could easily be resentful after getting injured with no big guaranteed deal.
Or might go the other way and jump on a deal before he takes a snap.

They are in trouble just to get down to the cap, let alone signing any veteran players.

Plus they already found and paid their replacement QB in Taysom.

Yeah I feel pretty comfortable saying Watson is the most valuable player ever to be on the trade block given his position and age and talent and I don’t think it’s particularly close.
