The coolest thing about Mongo is some people figuring that Flair must have hated having him forced into the Horsemen by WCW, when it turns out he absolutely loves Mongo because he drinks/parties as hard as Flair does. Flair seems to still be friends with him and was gushing all over him on his short-lived podcast. Mongo is a truer horseman than most.

My best guess is that Mongo grabbed wrong and couldn't pull Malenko onto his shoulder to move him into the right hold for a tombstone. Props for adjusting with that move instead of standing there and doing an awkward shuffle while trying to get Malenko right while holding him upside down.
