It's been a while, but thinking about Isabel just kind of makes me recognize the quality of Paranatural's writing. The Spender Slam, Isabel Edition was a great callback to her grandfather's line about "improve before you rename", and showed that even if she snarks, she does take his words to heart. It shows how much she really is longing for him to respect her as a fighter.
