Do they ever sell, or does the jackass seller give up after a few months and trade it in at a lot towards a new car while getting his "special deal" (paying sticker price)?

I wonder how many of the people with bad/unfriendly ads are being forced to sell their cars and are trying to sabotage the effort. Of course they probably are just stupid/pricks but hey, wishful thinking.

I was looking in the window of 635i with a for sale sign in the back in a grocery parking lot when the owner approached me from behind. Without me even speaking he said "Don't even ask for a test drive unless you have $10k in your pocket as a security deposit". Ok.

I loved the hell out of that little 4x4. Mine was what they called the 'Space Cab'. I think it was the first compact truck with rear seating. They had a very distinctive raised roof to give the rear passengers headroom. I think it was sold in Australia as the Holden Rodeo. Mine looked exactly like this but was a 4x4. I traded it in after 150,000 miles and zero repairs in '91 on a Amigo.

Early MGs didn't even have consistent colors day to day. Old timers say that the Abingdon factory was notorious for just tossing whatever leftover paint they had on hand into the mix. Especially after the war when the company had a lot of military colors on hand, the red on car built one day would look radically different from the red on one built a week later.
