It's like someone dared Batman to ride in one of those toddler swings on the playground, but he got stuck so he just painted it black and is just hoping the Riddler doesn't notice.

Neal Adams's variant cover for Green Arrow #10. I can only assume Adams had a minor stroke and temporarily forgot everything he knew about how human anatomy works.

That pose is entirely achievable, the question is: Why the gently caress are you doing stretches on top of a train, OLIVER.

He must have hit one of those signs that are above the train and it broke his back.

He's dead now.

Did you know that Neal Adams also designed the Nasonex bee? Artists gotta eat, of course.

I've been enjoying the old guys doing variants at DC in the last year or so. Mike Grell's pretty good for 69.

You just gotta torso twist to one side pretty far. Like, it's not a posture you would hold, but if you were doing side to side stretches or something, it isn't like you're breaking anatomical laws.

If his feet were pointing the other way it would work way better.

Is she carrying that car?

The first time I ever read UFF I was pretty much brand new to comics so I didn't really notice "bad" and "good" art. Years later when I read it again, I was like, how did I not notice how bad this art was. It's too bad too because UFF is actually my favorite FF run besides Hickman.

As I said in other thread, it's my favorite thing Millar has written by a mile and I love Mike Carey's run. It was a good book until Ultimatum hit...
