Just voted for district 10, a good line had built up as I was casting the ballot so perhaps that's something to be optimistic about. Or maybe not, we'll find out soon enough.

Having a hearty laugh at the early TX-02 results showing Kathaleen Wall pissing away $6 million of her own money just to lose the primary but that's cut short by Todd Litton aka Decorum: The Candidate winning the democrat primary. I got one final Kathaleen Wall mailer today a full page of Uncle Sam telling me true conservatives will vote for her or some bullshit. What's the percent to avoid a runoff? Did my part and voted earlier. When I got to the polling station I pointed out the Democratic party and I'm guessing so few people there had done that because the lady there made sure that the guy next to her knew to grab the correct paper. Then that guy told me "If you're interested, your people are having a convention in a couple of weeks" and handed me a flyer. I'm white.

I voted early at the county elections office so I didn't get any lols. But my brother voted today at a church. Note the interior of the church was where the Republicans voted, while the Democrats were sent to some trailers on the church property. As he was walking a woman leaving the church, redirected toward the trailers, said "they're making us vote in the trailers!"

Apparently some nearby neighborhoods have different polling locations than me (mine are an elementary and middle school for D and R respectively) and the republican one is a funeral home. A bunch of suburban moms on Nextdoor were very upset about those dastardly democrats making them go to such a morbid location (sickos!). The omnipotent Texas Democratic Party strikes again.
