I Before E posted:SEMIFINALS RVD's title match at ONS '06 is the stuff of legends, but Daniel Bryan did more to make his time as a case holder meaningful to his character and the storylines of the company than pretty much anyone else. The set up of wanting to use it for a Mania match was charming, the internal conflicts he had as time moved forward motivating his heel turn were ingenious and his run as heel champion was hella entertaining. 18 Seconds was an unfortunate ending, but even that lead to that incredible 2/3 falls match. I have to vote for him. Dolph Ziggler had one of the best runs as Mr. Money In The Bank ever, he owned that gimmick like very few others and made it work so well that even being associated with Vickie Guerrero and being the heel on the roster that was most despicably heelish and verbally abusing fan favorite AJ Lee couldn't stop him from getting cheers. His cash in was probably the most nuclear pop since Lesnar's return and he was able to get a better match out of Alberto Del Rio on one leg than most other opponents had during his entire championship reign. Edge literally wrote the book on MITB and it made him a main event star for the rest of his career, but Ziggler so much out of being Mr. Money In The Bank that I can't bring myself to punish him for the bad luck that fell on him afterward.

I'm surprised almost nobody is voting for Bryan. RVD's cash in match was godly but there was literally nothing else of merit about him having the case OR his subsequent title run. I don't think it trumps 7 or 8 months of fun character development and several high quality matches like his Elimination Chamber title defense.

RVD tied in his MITB briefcase with the ECW storyline, so that build-up to ONS with the return of ECW and the prospect of Smark Boogeyman John Cena vs Smark Darling RVD and the very possibility that RVD could win created a hell of a lot of anticipation. The night itself was incredible, but I remember getting pretty psyched up in the build-up too, and it's the only time I can really remember the MITB briefcase being such an integral part of a main event storyline outside of a series of aborted cash-ins until the holder finally found the right moment to strike.

For the reasons I stated previously, I've got to go with Ziggler. Rob turned his case into an incredible moment that will echo in history, but Ziggler WAS that briefcase, he made me care about it and it made me care about him. If he hadn't gotten a concussion that cut his reign short I don't think this would even be a question.

I watched both live, Ziggler's was the biggest pop in recent memory, more so than Bryan winning the title at WM30.

I kind of have to vote for Ziggler based almost solely on having been there for his cash-in, which was an absolutely electric moment.
