I hope the only reason they didn't fire the GM was that they didn't have an obvious interim GM lined up like they did for head coach. Because again, their last several drafts have been pretty awful outside Mariota and the roster is kinda terrible.

And the Browns wanted Shaq Barrett, who the Broncos weren't willing to part with in addition to the pick. Browns not understanding fire sale.

Take the extra first rounder. Johnny Football don't need no tackles.

That pick will be at best #30, it would be a bad return for Joe Thomas. He might have 5-6 Pro Bowl years left in him. Broncos are ridiculous to offer less than a first and a third.

RG3 will be out of football in less than 6 months, if he isn't technically out already.

@AlbertBreer
The Redskins haven't received any trade interest in Robert Griffin III -- And that's going back to August, when he was benched. No calls.

Eh - if you trade for him you're stuck with that rookie contract which is well above his market. I bet teams would sign him once cut but they're not interested in giving up anything to get the privilege to pick up his fifth-year option.

I could see someone picking up RGIII after he's cut, but trading for him would mean being on the hook for his extension, and having to give up something in return (so you don't have the option of cutting and re-signing him without potentially losing something for nothing).

edit: beaten.

Also considering what Washington would likely get in compensation for him, and the pure malice they've shown the guy, it's also possible they're lying just to poo poo on him.

There are about 20 teams that would sign RGIII the next day after he is cut.

Come on Colts.

Edit: Well I guess it is trade deadline day. Give him till 4 to trade for an entire new team that is decent, then fire him if he doesn't.

Steelers left guard Ramon Foster called in to The Fan's morning show of his own volition to double down on his comments Sunday that Vontaze Burfict targeted Le'Veon Bell, saying essentially that Burfict ran away from the play celebrating what was an 8 yard gain on 1st down.

Like, what is there to celebrate giving up an 8 yard play on an early down, when everyone in the entire stadium knew immediately that Bell was injured and calling for a medic? He went on to threaten that the Steelers will be looking for Burfict when they play again in a few weeks.

When asked how that was any different than Mike Mitchell celebrating after knocking the wind out of receiver Marvin Jones, as well as telling AJ Green that he was next, Foster said that it's not any different, except Mitchell didn't end Jones' season
