phantom menace does the best job of getting close to the tone you would want for a new star wars movie coming out in the late 90's/early 00's, it's not miserable or overly violent, it doesn't revolve around an awful, chemistry-less, unbelievable love story, you could kind of imagine children watching it and liking it for the most part

Episode 1 is on TV right now. I have it on in the background and Darth Maul just came out from behind the door. Duel of the Fates started and I got goosebumps and the hair on the back of my neck stood up. If it has one thing, it's got that song.

that closing battle in ep1 is probably the best part of the prequels easily close second is probably the battle over coruscant open in 3 or the duel on mustafar, its in a volcano

You know, a few moments after this gif occurs in the film Anakin actually blows up the Trade Federation ship. I looked it up and that thing is mostly manned by droids. Mostly. There's a command staff of 25 living beings, all of which are visually confirmed to still be in the command room when it explodes. Point is this kid had a kill count of at least 2 dozen before he even hit puberty.

I'm watching Revenge of the Sith right now. (some marathon the past few days). This is bad. Probably my least favorite. My order of best to worst for me is just 1-2-3.
