One of the major characters in Season 3 is a lesbian who's also a space priest that saves humanity, there's a lot of LGBT+ people in the Expanse and it's so common it's just normal it's not even remarked upon, plenty of people are gay but being gay is never their entire character it's just who they like to sleep with

Oh yeah the ambassador to Mars was gay I literally forgot that, but like in a good way. Characters' sexuality only ever comes up if they're doing an establishing shot where someone's waking up in bed with another person, or like they facetime their spouse and oh look the lady priest has a wife instead of a husband this is completely unremarkable and nobody notices or cares. It's all just people in space doing cool space things and murdering each other, there's 9 foot tall cyborg asteroid miners nobody cares if you like dick in the future
