if you did it with current technology it would be annoying but I feel like if we actually invented some kind of light-emitting cloth it wouldn't be. maybe keeping it visible and looking good would be annoying but it wouldn't necessarily be uncomfortable

person of interest is kind of unique in that it wants to tell a high-concept sci fi story but is forced to do so through the medium of generic network procedural. it does eventually get there but very slowly and never fully escapes that constraint
