Foreign poster chat reminded me of this tidbit. This is the US poster for Star Trek V: And this is the Japanese poster: The three-breasted cat lady has maybe 2 seconds of screen time in an alien bar scene and is completely irreverent to the plot.

As promised, original cover art for romance novels! There's some awfully racist content here. The wicker thing they're leaning against is a Victorian casket that I desperately wanted to get into. Some titles: Hallelujah Trails, Love Tide, The Sea Eagles, Dark Hills Westward. That one's not really a romance, I guess. quote:From the back cover: "The marauding Indians murdered and scalped Jennie Wiley's brother and children. They dragged her off into the Kentucky wilderness, where she underwent every brutality known to man. But they couldn't break gallant Jennie Wiley's spirit. This book tells the other side of the true and shocking history of BURY MY HEART AT WOUNDED KNEE. True, the white man robbed and murdered the Indian. But as author Harry Caudill writes, "Between 1492 and 1892 more white people-men, women and children-perished at the hands of Indians than were killed on all America's battlefields, at home or abroad."

Hempuli posted:Yeah, looking at the image I kinda started second-guessing if it was a good example of what I was trying to say, but something about the rightmost cover just annoyes me, what with the font, the slightly-edited water texture background and clipart-like image in the middle. It looks more like the cover to detective/crime novel set in South Florida where the publisher didn't want to renew the rights for the original cover art.
