The PPV was too long but never lost my interest. It actually felt like it had proper pacing to me, at least , because the womens title and on were just loving bangers. CM Punk shouldnt have won, but im still interested in where it goes. I also wish Team Taz won the tag belts because Starks and Hobbs are really cool. I will forever think back on The camera randomly cutting back to Danielson beating the life from Cool Hand Ang in the cheap seats for like 10 minutes because they never left that spot. Just Ang wondering how he drew the short straw as he is beaten to death. And Daddy Magic losing 10 gallons of blood and mustard.

Overall still pretty enjoyable though. Death Triangle vs. HoB was motn imo. Thank loving god the belt is off of Hangman, I really wish Jurassic express had lost too but oh well. Nowhere close to the worst. Omega v Moxley exploding.

Hangman had a nice run and I think it was time for him to drop it. Did think they'd turn Punk heel to do it, and not really excited about a face Punk title run. He did not look that great in the ring in that match.

I love aew. God drat it feels good to enjoy wrestling again. I think I appreciate it more after wwe killed my love for it and aew brought it back. Then it helped me through the pandemic and depression. loving feels good to be alive right now

Hangman losing might sting, but like I cannot think of any better face of All Elite Wrestling than the man it brought back to the world of wrestling after seven years. CM Punk is Lazarus walking out of the cave.

That's the only thing that would have fallen short otherwise. This was the most disappointing card for an aew ppv so far in production

I feel as bad about Hangman losing as about Maki losing when challenging for the PoP belt or the exploding death match, when I felt like I didn't want to watch the next show. Which is stupid, there was tons of great stuff tonight, and so was on those shows. I missed punk's whole initial run. He's amazing on the mic, I have liked his matches here and the dog collar with Raven but his pace is pretty slow (better than Dustin) and he's pretty sloppy (I thought that one match with Cena was...bad?). I have never understood the hype, though I appreciate he means a lot to a ton of people. I'm probably biased because my whole family are Hangers and my brother thinks Punk is terrible (only exposed to current run). I'm the only one who stayed up and watched it, interested in their reactions later
