That blond cop from the when Urban first returned to the department isn't in the cast picture, is he dead by the end of the episode?

Edit: Guess so.

Karl Urban as a future cop in an ultra violent society just makes me wish this was a Dredd series on HBO or something.

Better work than the other guy did, he guested on White Collar for two episodes and then got murdered.

Gyges posted:

I have to say, this seems like a pretty decent "realistic" prediction of 35 years in the future.

Edit: Never mind, hover train and flying cars just nixed that.

Well the opening crawl basically said that the Singularity is happening.

Well the opening crawl basically said that the Singularity is happening.

If you mean Warren Kole, he was in a big chunk of The Following though, wasn't he? Looks like Fox picked them both up after Common Law got canned.

I hadn't even heard that it got cancelled, had to find out while looking for the season 2 premiere date :(

This has to have been at least partly influenced by Deus Ex, right? It's even got a Chinatown setting (versus actual China)

Edit: Or Blade Runner. It's been a long time since I saw that. :(

From how they described it it sounded like the data got fragmented and the MX wouldn't have been able to put the pieces back together. Like having a jigsaw puzzle where all the pieces are the same shape but you don't know what its supposed to look like.

You'd think that sometime in THE FUTURE they'd be able to make their robots EMP proof.

Seemed pretty straight forward. You have something we want, remember file 666? Definitely something that would warrant at least forwarding the video to a human to look over.

That makes more sense, though you'd think they'd have a computer program for that which ran on similar software to the DRN model.
