thanks to all of you! you're all sooooooooooooo kind as always and i can't tell you how much i appreciate it. haven't decided how far i'm gonna take this, but i'm definitely considering making enough to create a weird coffee shop inverted mix cd. given that, the songs have tended to be on the lighter side, but that's also due to the fact that i don't rehearse any of these and i'm a baritone so i don't really wanna blow up my voice by trying to sing some HARD ROCK or whatever. plus, doing raps or raplike vocal tempos backward is likely to be impossible at regular tempo. i may end up trying ONE WEEK by barenaked ladies (i knew the majority of the lyrics in middle school, so it might be possible to do if i lower the tempo a lot to record and then return to those tracks to normal tempo), but no guarantees. this whole project opens up all kinds of super weird singing quirks, i.e. none of the consonant sounds work where they are now and that's especially weird when you're trying to sing properly. anyway, keeping in spirit with what i said, here's GOOD RIDDANCE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmRo_pGyyGk |
