Duskers is a spooky scifi game where you control drones exploring desolate ship hulks in a big space graveyard, but you can only control them by commandline prompts http://store.steampowered.com/app/254320/Duskers/ I haven't tried it yet but it's very well reviewed.

PleasingFungus posted:i really liked how elegant that game's puzzles were... if it was possible to do something in that game, some cool trick or minimal way to solve a puzzle, that was probably required for some optional objective or secret or something. really missed that in the next puzzle game i played! yeah for sure. You were encouraged to break poo poo out of puzzles so you could make other puzzles trivial. Then also you would use stuff to climb to weird parts of the map and you'd think "heh, devs never intended me to get here" but then theres a bit of text there. I also liked painting QR codes in hard to reach places that were visible from normal play areas as a bonus puzzle to people on my friends list.

HoboMan posted:anyone mention TIS-100 yet? because if not i will be that guy i've never gotten around to playing it... it feels lronic to say, considering, but i just felt really "programming game'd out" when TIS-100 was released. the true gamer plays his older stuff... like KOHCTPYKTOP: Engineer of the People. a game that wants you to watch a tutorial video to have any idea of what's going on - now that's Hardcore Gaming.
