One of the cringiest moments in my life was being told by some dude "Go away the tall people are talking" but he tried to lower his voice to match my register when I was on my second date with my six foot one ex at a karaoke bar and she just gave him that "Like, gross" emasculating look out of the corner of her eye that chicks give guys trying to act macho and I wasn't even mad because I was suffering such profound second hand embarrassment at this complete and utter faux pas. In a way I have to thank him because his outrageous display of insecurity made me look that much better in comparison.
