I remember reading some series of books when I was in elemental school about kids who solve crimes or something and they made a secret base by tunneling into a pile of trash or scrap metal or something, I thought that was really cool

They were cool books, if predictable, and I loved them when I was a kid. They're also how I learned who Alfred Hitchcock was, he was the person who introduced most of their cases in each book's beginning and who they met with at the conclusion of one.

Not sure if anyone remembers but Wisconsin gets really cold. Like, really cold. With windchill it was about -50F in February or so. I would have used an icicle to stab in my throat rather than deal with that.
