I love me some Jam but I have zero faith in the general British public. You're going to vote yourself into another Tory/Lib dem minority government and then vote Brexit in another referendum followed by a few more years of "How could this happen!? We are better than this I swear! Third referendum!"

HorseLord posted:"tankie" here used to mean "person who says factual things" No, tankie here refers to your Hoxha-esque zeal against revisionism and your history of defending Stalin. None of this stops you from being right on this though: most of the thread is somewhere between social democrat and democratic socialist.

Lot of MPs jumping in that OP list. Shame in a way, was hoping to see a few of them scalped. Could have a nice montage to go along with Hello Darkness My old Clegg. And I will get around to adding Scotland and Wales to the 5000 vote difference thing at some point - life's sorta got in the way. May Corbyn crush his enemies, see them driven before him, and hear the lamentation of their women.

Tbf the main thing Hoxha did wrong was he failed to just move the entire country into a massive underground bunker that could house them all indefinitely, and could not be harmed with anything less than orbital mass drivers.

A good idea, I will look into that today. I suspect it won't allow people to edit their guesses as we get closer to election night though? There's an edit history so i'm not too worried about people loving with other people's numbers

Brexit party announcement at 11. BBC coverage of their impact was shite, they vox pop a loving BNP supporter in Thurrock and then an analyst of some description talks about Labour voters abandoning the party for 5 minutes before finishing on saying the Brexit Party will mostly impact on Tory vote share.

I really can't tell if being unable to engage in politics for 6 weeks is going to be a nightmare or a blessing. Looking forward to the first time a canvasser knocks on the door and I just have to stand there, muttering "Purdah" while staring them down like an absolute psychopath. I mean I give the postie the same reception, but still...

Who else thinks the result is likely to be a comically hung parliament with a slight swing to Labour? I don’t know if that’s better or worse than the current situation because it splits parliament between up to 3 parties (lib dem / Snp / Labour) and that’s going to make a coherent policy position hard to come by.
