Zygarde will hurl a killing blow at Ash-Greninja, but Ash will jump in the way, causing his body to be destroyed and his soul to be permanently absorbed into Greninja.

This will resolve the Serena plot as she's not going to date a god drat frog abomination unto Arceus, resolve Ash as now he's dead, resolve Greninja as he beats Zygarde and goes into the sunset, and set up the Alola arc, flash forwarding to five years later where best trainer Bonnie takes Ash's Pikachu to Alola.

Turtonator is real and strong and s/he's my friend.

also there's no way it's standalone. the design is too elaborate, and it's quite large. It might even be a pseudo-legendary. I would say it's the Fire totem, but if it's second or third stage, ehhh, the totem is probably an evolved form of Salandit.
