I recently played an online flash game recommended to me from somewhere. It was a game where you had two screens, on the left was a world you walked around. On the right was a "world inside you" which acted as your inventory and looked like the inside of a house. The game was based on some quote about how inside all of us there are infinite universes or possibilities or something along those lines. You would walk around on the left screen and collect food for your inventory. If a living creature walked into you, it would also enter your inventory. If you walked into a living creature, you would enter its inventory instead, which was a small world with even more creatures in it. Your goal was to reach a certain depth of going down the rabbit hole through various creatures, as it were.

I can't remember where it was recommended to me, and I've had no luck googling, plus I put a ton of things into my history and didn't see any hits there. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about.

A little EQ, a touch of reverb, slap on some compression and there. That'll get your dickbutt jiggling.

There was a game I played at a friend's house in the late 90s, it was a text adventure, first person walk aroundy hybrid. It was futuristic with aliens coexisting. All I recall is a taxi cab, and the driver would ask where to go. When you typed a wrong answer he'd go "Wut the hell!?" and we would crack up. Not sure if we got past that drat cabby. He may have been copy protection.

Old FPS either on N64 or Playstation (old grey box) that all I remember about it was hyper violent and had a gun called ?cerebro? that would seek out enemy heads and explode them.
Very little else I remember other than it had a HEAP of different weapons.

There was an android game I played many years back wich was pretty neat. I remember it being a sort of an hack and slash game where you fought various enemies on top of a rock plateau. I remember it having a kind of pixel graphics, and it was fairly bloody/brutal and hard. The objective was to survive waves of enemies. You could die pretty easily as well so it was incredibly challhenging.

EDIT:
NEvermind, I suddenly had an epiphany. It was called "only one".

Play the Nightdive Studios remaster if you feel like giving it another shot. It gets rid of the lag and lovely n64 controls.

An old PC game, probably DOS-era. It was an arcade type shooter, kind of like house of the dead. I remember there was like a hair metal band or similar in it, one of the early stages was set in a club, women dancing in cages, and everyone turning into alien bug monsters or something. One of the later levels was in some kind of secret lab/base kind of thing. Remembered it out of the blue the other day and would really like to know what it was.

Sometimes it's literally impossible to avoid damage, enemies attack as soon as they appear on screen and just through attrition you'll die no matter what even in a perfectly played game. There's a few 90's arcade games like that

the weirdest thing about revolution x is that it's loving packed with obscure pixel-perfect secrets, and you have to find all of them, in the same playthrough, to get the true ending. like in every stage there's a secret room with a member of aerosmith trapped inside and even if you know where it is, there's basically no way to guarantee that you can access it. it's straight up kusoge but at the same time it's also one of the most estoeric and :psyduck: rail shooters i've ever seen

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I had a game in my steam library I couldn't play before because my graphics card sucked. Now I have a new card and can't find it.
It's a first person puzzle game (not Portal, not Antichamber, not Talos). I remember having a kinda gun maybe and I think you had to turn lasers to open something. Can't really say because the game always crashed after 2 minutes of stuttering.
As far as I remember it was a free game. After looking through hundreds of puzzle games I'm not sure it exists any more.

If it was free it might have been removed from your library when you uninstalled it, Steam does that sometimes.

Some free games are removed from your library if you uninstall them, which is weird since not every free game seems to do that, but there's a way to show every game you currently own or previously played if free.

Click your username at the top right corner, click to Account Details, then go to View Licenses and Product Key Activations. Anything on that list with "Remove" by it was free, so it should be easy to spot.

Maybe MirrorMoon EP? Not free, but there's a gun/tool you carry, and a variety of translucent light beam things I could sort of see described as "lasers".

If push comes to shove, and you're sure the game was on Steam at some point, this Reddit thread suggests a couple lists of titles removed from the service, e.g. https://steam-tracker.com/

The only thing that comes to mind is, I think it was called Chrysanthemum, which was a falling-block game where the gimmick was that flowers would fall in from any of the four edges and land on a central square, or by hitting another already-landed flower. You had to arrange the flowers into certain configurations according to what kind of flower it was, and the failure state involved insects swarming out to eat all of your flowers.
