At Stereogum Tom Breihan is writing a column called The Number Ones, where he does an article on every Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit ever, in chronological order going back to the debut of the chart. It's a seriously great column and if you're at all into music I can't recommend it enough; every single one is filled with details you just never loving realized.
