I'm interested in more Ion Fury, and I wonder if they've said that the expansion will be a separate purchase, or give it away for free. Same with the Amid Evil expansion. This neo-retro wave started without all the "season pass" tactics that AAA games use so I could see them going either way.

They should add a checkbox to the Steam checkout page that says "Have you read the entirety of every member of the development team's Twitter account?" and if you don't click it you can't buy the video game.

Obviously individual consumers shouldn't be expected to keep on top of all of this, but a publisher should probably be a little bit aware of the history of the people they're partnering with or planning on featuring at an event they're running

Imo there is a big difference between buying Ion Fury and buying Hatred, in the same way that I would feel more comfortable putting money down to watch a Val Kilmer movie than a Kevin Spacey movie.

I guess if you are a publisher and your employee is a known neo nazi and you are funneling money into their bank account you are somewhat complicit in spreading hate messages. I just dislike that this is even a thing that has to be considered when purchasing games is all. I agree with the points you have all been making it is just depressing.

Wasn’t Kaiser or somebody working on a better RoTT source port? Theoretically ECWolf will add support for RoTT too, but at the current pace of development that’s on track to be completed in 2035.

Some years ago we had the same shitheads making videogames and we didn't know about most of them. But now they're either more vocal or people investigate more. Right now getting a game is like a drat minefield and you become guilty if you actually like that game that was made by 40+ devs, but one of them us an awful individual.
