I guess whoever made the map used the fact that the French and Belgians sometimes identify themselves by their pre-roman peoples as an excuse to group all the romance language speakers with the celtic groups. Except it also wanted to depict the north/south Italy divide, and while it's true that there's a lot of Greek influence that went into southern Italy, if anything it's the Germans who did much more influence in Northern Italy, nothing really Celtic about it. France is also probably more shaped by Germans than it was by Celts. That's what the Franks were. Not as much domination as the Anglo-Saxons had over southeastern Britain, but much more significant to modern France than the Gauls, who had largely assimilated into a subordinate position beneath the the Romans and Romanized Gauls by the time the French came along. Oh hey, and there's those Slavic Hungarians. Good ol' Slavic Hungary. If ever a Slav nation there was, Hungary sure is one. And there definitely isn't another weird specific hyphenated language group on the map specifically designed to differentiate them.
