It gets really complex really quick - which is why I haven't bothered to implement that on the forums themselves. Also I know the site would eat the 150 tweet per 15 minute thing up too fast and not work most of the time. Yeah, Twitter happily provides a dark theme in the JS embed API, but for other things we'd need to move to user auth to keep up with the traffic. Then people need to tie their Twitter account to the app/forums, and things get gross fast. I looked into this for imgur as well, in my unsuccessful quest to diagnose the posting-too-fast error.

Ya, it's in the options screen, set "open youtube in youtube" to on. I used to hate that poo poo because the middleman step made it so it dont say "back to awful" up the top. If you set that slider to on itll open em and you can go back to the app via iOS which makes browsing video heavy threads much more fun.

A,axing work on the app everyone. Has something changed today to make bookmarks not work? Because bookmarks totally don't work for me now. The bookmark sidebar appears to load data but shows blank. Forums display works. Also I see Handoff support, which is awesome, but what does it handoff to? A browser or some app I need?

It will open the current thread and page in Awful on other iOS devices with it installed, or Safari on iOS without Awful (I think) and OS X.

Apple removed them from the store over nsfw content being accessible on them. Yes, it makes no sense. The Bacon Reader devs (in their subreddit) said it wasn't Reddit's doing and that Reddit's reached out to them to help them get back in business. Just FYI.

Yeah, Apple rejections got pretty out of hand a while back...even when we submitted the AMA app (when I worked on it) we had to take some rather extreme measures. For AMAs. I mean, really, c'mon, Apple. Definitely Apple's agenda, not Reddit's. (for the record, I no longer work there)
