Theres a few JZ-engined IS/Altezza here and id love to drive one, great sleeper with (as youve mentioned) awesome performance potential

My only reservations would be the strength of the 6-speed box, and the additional weight of the JZ making it a bit of a lead-tipped arrow

The suspension was set up to cope with the additional weight in the front (Apexi Full coilvers), and I'd like a cusco LSD to take control of the traction, which is happening pretty soon.

Today the car lowered it's time by a few milliseconds as well.. (13.2) also BONE stock, just an HKS air filter it marked 290 HP / 300 lbf/ft at the dyno.

Well, here are some more pictures. I can get some interior shots if wanted, later from my home computer. Also, whenever I drive this car (the very very few times I have) I get the shakes and my heart rate increases. The camaro has a 396 bored out few thousand over with a 4 speed tranmisson.

I know what you mean. This camaro was sitting in the bush for 20+ years, because it was suppose to be a project for my dad and his brother. Soon after they got the car and some parts, my uncle died of CF. So, fast foward to 2000 and we wheel this car out of the bush and try to restore it. In the being it looked hopeless (floor was tissue paper thin, frame was heavily rotten), but we mananged to work with it and save it. I'm going to look for some of the restoration picutes when I get home.

oh why did you get the hatchback! No offense, just my personal preferance I just always liked the sedans. The 09' WRX looks Exremely Sexy.. When I heard WRX stopped making the STI in sedan my jaw dropped..

With tint and a few typical aesthetic mods I bet they can look very nice :) And that project car is very nice.

As for my ride..

Working on my front end, getting rims soon, and a performance clutch, flywheel and short shifter along with other upcoming engine upgrades.. so only 1 picture for now, though in this community my car is atrocious!

As for me, the 300ZX is in the shop now, acquiring a dual-plate carbon-carbon clutch (22lbs for both the flywheel and clutch, versus almost like 50lbs stock. :v:), an some SMICs/615cc injectors/13" brakes/basically everything including a tune that should set me up with everything I need to blow my stock turbos up from running them ragged, then putting bigger ones on, nothing else needed :v: Hoping to get a dyno sheet in the ~450 whp range when I get it back, but who knows. It'll be north of 400 at least.
I should get some updated pictures when I get it back, I think.

Because you guys insulted my car immediately when there was nothing wrong with it other than having a CF lip that has been removed for a long time now - it had came with the m3 bumper.

Is a 3 series not allowed to look like an m3 just for the aggressive ness in prep for auctually being able to push that much horsepower??

The vast majority of Skylines still 500hping around town are not GTRs. They are generally Automatic non turbo models. These are RWD. Occasionally you get some oval office driving a GTT and automatic. RWD. Rarely you get a manual turbo drive past, but it is garunteed to be poo poo and blowing oil everwhere. And be RWD.
Most common are the R33 N/A automatics (RWD). These are ugly, slow and boring. Then you get a GTR R32 drive past (2/3s RWD), these are beaten to poo poo and are completely undesirable. Occasionally a 32 in decent condition (AWD) drives past, but it is still a boring grey piece of poo poo.
R33 and R34 GTRs are fairly rair. And normally some muzza cocknose has "pulled the fuse" to make it RWD.

Skylines are generally poo poo.

So, you are saying that majority of all street 500hp Skylines are Auto and non turbo? Wow, that is some serious high comp action right there...

My manual GT-T isn't blowing oil everywhere and I don't think it's poo poo, my sponsors don't think it's poo poo and you can't win numerous tarmac rallies outright with a poo poo car...

Also, whats with this "And be RWD" as if that's a bad thing?

Sweeping and completely unfounded information aside, are you aware that majority of NA Skylines are AWD? R32 GTS4, R33 GTS4 and R34 GT-X and GT-V.

You use the expression Muzza, so I'm going assume that you unfortunately inhabit the same continent as me.

At the end of the day the R32 GT- is in most cases, a twenty year old car. Like anything that old that has a following, there will be beaters, show ponies, streeters and everything in between.
Australia is home to some of the worlds best street driven R32 GT-s, Twoogle & BodyForm just to name a couple.

If you are indeed in Australia, I'd like to know what bum gently caress town you live in because 33 and 34 GT-R's are as common as they are awesome. Especially now being so affordable. Low 20k AUD for a 33 and low 50k AUD for a 34. If anything, a decent DR30 or HR31 is becoming rair.

These are aluminum Procomp wheels that I bought used. The finish was shot, so I painted them red. I added the circle of bolts, and made these caps. They are just pieces of plexiglas riveted together.

EDIT: Need to touch up the paint. The lug nuts are too shallow and it's hard to get them on and off.

Did you have to road balance the wheels after adding the bolts? How deeply do they thread down?
