I don't know why I bothered bringing it up, since I know morons are gonna label me a creep despite my trying to actually have a dialogue about the subject. A subject that I care deeply about since ya know, it hosed my life up and probably will continue to effect me until I die. I'm not even defending King, i think he's a probably a creep, but the subject of child sexuality is indeed a topic that shouldn't be off limits of exploration and conversation, I believe it can be handled in a non creepy way and I think the article in question makes a valid point even if I don't agree with it entirely. It's lovely that I even have to bring up the fact that I was molested in order to not get branded as a pedophile or apologist. The taboo around the subject basically makes this issue unsolvable within our lifetime and harms far more children than it protects.
