I was trying to think of anything involving earth religion in star trek and sort of came up blank. My earliest memories of star trek are maybe a little specific but this dad brought his sons I will cleverly call Rod and Todd over to my house and we watched TNG. Early season 1. It was confusing and bad but it was bland and it was white and it was heterosexual. I can only imagine him a couple years later covering both of their eyes. Star trek is dead to us. Never mind the socialism. Such a confusing show.

This is funny because the entire plot of Alien would barely be notable in star trek. "Long range sensors show the ship is full of eggs in stasis" "Oh he poked it and it attacked him? Eh just beam the thing off his face." "Oh there's an alien on the ship? Scan for it and beam it into space"

Considering the "Native American" advisor they got for Voyager was of Eastern European Jewish ancestry on both sides of his family, no, I'm not going to give any benefit of the doubt to Star Trek for proper representation. Seriously, he was exposed in the early 80s, but for whatever reason, that was ignored or never came to light a decade later when they hired him. Anyway, here's a meme I found beer that was never delivered because Oktoberfest was cancelled this year

Voyager is by far the best Star Trek but some of the Chakotay episodes were horrid. The boxing one especially stands out. Isn't there some meme about 7of9 being responsible for Obama's ascension? edit: yep https://suindependent.com/jeri-ryan-got-barack-obama-elected-2/
