I'm glad Brooke is tackling this plot line. Just when I thought Reddick would edge him out for most masturbatory strip, he comes along and reminds me why he will always be my personal 'worst in thread'. The Gwen plot was cringey, but it's nothing compared to how offensively terrible "gay men just need to find the right woman" is.

Haifisch posted:I'm glad Dick Tracy's finally tackling the real villains: People who go exactly the speed limit. Well, Two things: One: There is such a thing as " Flow of Traffic" If everyone else is going 70, YOU need to be going 65 or 70, even if the limit is 55, or else you become a danger. If the speed limit is 55, but in doing so he is creating a dangerous traffic jam, then yes, he can certainly be ticketed. Two: How the gently caress is he blocking 4 lanes of traffic? Look at the picture. There is 4 rows of cars behind. If he is somehow keeping FOUR LANES blocked, then yes. Ticket, and tow.

Tiggum posted:You can't be ticketed for driving at the speed limit and it is not legal to exceed the speed limit just because others are doing so. If you're just driving at the limit and that's annoying other people who would like to break the law but can't, that is not something the police consider to be a problem. In the left lane you absolutely can be ticketed for doing the speed limit Here's the california law about it: quote:21654. (a) Notwithstanding the prima facie speed limits, any vehicle proceeding upon a highway at a speed less than the normal speed of traffic moving in the same direction at such time shall be driven in the right-hand lane for traffic or as close as practicable to the right-hand edge or curb, except when overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction or when preparing for a left turn at an intersection or into a private road or driveway.
