For one thing they get paid per game in the state the game was in, so for a lot of players at least half their games are gonna be in different states anyway. Has any athlete ever really mentioned it as a factor?

the Thunder went to the conference finals five times in the KD-Russ era, so at the very least they were consistent at that time. I don't think they make it out of the first again this year considering the bloodbath that is now the Western Conference

If I had to guess atm, I'd say I can see them at least in round 2 but it's just too early to guess.
