That link I posted earlier - there are now four moms and 18 kittens all mixed up together. There were three moms and 13 kittens in one box, and one mom with five kittens next to it, and then all the moms carried all the kittens outside of the boxes, where they are now all sprawled in a huge pile of fluff and squee. You can go back on the DVR and watch the migration.  Cassie, the rescuer, is supplementing some of the littlest ones with bottle feedings, but they all seem healthy so far, and they don't seem to care which mom they feed from, they all share. http://new.livestream.com/cassieskittenkastle/freakykittens

Yes, she was being prepped for her spay surgery and she died on the table - it turned out she had a massive tumor and nobody knew it. She gave her all for those little kittens.
