We fudged around a bit, turning X's into stylised M's and put strike outs through the I's to make it all look a bit more runic and intentional and he instantly started with the denial stage of grief in saying he much preferred it this way as it's "different" from how most people would get roman numerals! loving idiot.

drat. I got some Latin on me and triple-checked both what I wanted done AND what the artist put on the stencil before we ever got it down. It amazes me people just walk in not knowing what they're putting on their body.
