I like this in a ramp deck. One of the problems in ramp deck is that the ramp cards became dead draws in lategame. This is quite good. http://mythicspoiler.com/hou/cards/beneaththesands.html

So to buy Ammits at 2.50? I am having a hard time reading this card: will it get played when Tracker and Rishkar are in the format or does it explode after rotation. The card seems strong.

Sickening posted:http://media.wizards.com/2017/hou/en_4dXI6XNB94.png I mean it's not that difficult to make that a 10/10 or more with flying. That's not a particularly difficult drawback to overcome either. Elyv posted:Why do prowess, indestructible, and lifelink have reminder text again? Because there isn't a core set for new players to learn the many keywords in Magic, so might as well put reminder text on simple cards rather than longer, more boring flavor text.

Yeah I'm thinking -1/-1 might work Ammit Eternal Oblisk Spider Archfiend Nest of Scarabs or Hapatra Ruthless Sniper Key to the City Channeler Iniatr Tenacious Hunter Splendid Agony Supernatural Stamina (to bring the Ammits back without counters) What else?

Green seems really loving good in draft this set. It has, like, an actual curve with good 2-drops, probably the best common removal in the set, and a couple of good tricks. Oh, and Overrun lite. Blue actually looks decent. It has a lot of card draw and decent common fliers, and some very good uncommons. Black looks like hot garbage unless you are doing Zombie synergies. Red seems okay, it has a bunch of 2 power 2-drops so maybe you can try to aggro out the opponent. It's midrange uncommons seem pretty good. Most of red's removal is underwhelming, although I think even at 3 mana the 3-damage card is going to be great. White seems good but not as insane as it was in Amonkhet. Sandblast will probably be the best common in white. Unconventional Tactics seems like a legit win condition. Lets Pickle fucked around with this message at 17:22 on Jun 30, 2017 |

Sickening posted:http://media.wizards.com/2017/hou/en_4dXI6XNB94.png Seems fine for limited, especially if the format slows down a turn or two. It'll usually be pretty big by the time you can cast it, and its drawback also feeds it. I mean, it's not amazing, but I would play it if i was in black, and be pretty happy to take it third pick or so.
