Alright, I'm trying to find a song I heard on the radio. Problem is I can't remember any specific lyrics. It was just some guy rapping/singing/talking over guitar. I thought it sounded like John mayer or someone similar but I can't loving find it. I know that's not much to go off of but any help would be awesome.

Need help finding a music video. All I remember is that it's in a pixel art style, has some surreal somewhat disturbing imagery, and a guy drives a red car with a license plate that says "GAMER".

Help me locate a cover of Nirvana's "Sliver". All I remember is it was done by a hard rock band who had a female lead singer. Searching You Tube is coming up empty. Should also add I originally heard this a good 2-3 years ago, so it's not real new. END OF AN ERROR fucked around with this message at 02:53 on Jan 25, 2015 |

Heard this song when I was a kid and it's been tearing at me as to who wrote it. Well, I figured out who wrote the original, but this isn't the version I remember. It's the same song, but the version that was played for me was electronic, like 80s synth pop. I can not find any possible covers of this song that were recorded in what would have been the late 80s. Any help appreciated. Here is the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFg54Lj6SDE

Depends which chord pattern - the :44-1:00 is p much Weird Al's Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKeHQpT5wVE at the 4 minute mark. If it's the 1:20-1:30, it's kind of a common progression other than the repeat of the initial 3-note scale.

It sounds like The De Lesseps Dance from the medieval hit romdramedy Shakespeare In Love. Or, Greensleeves. Because Greensleeves was the only medieval song. What song is this? Its from the 80's/90's I think r&b, this melody is sung by a synthesized female voice and the notes sound like "Oh oh oh OH oh oh oh oh" etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTE6JbcsHCk Doom Sleigher fucked around with this message at 04:24 on Jan 31, 2015 |

Re asking my request. The Dirty Sanchez Movie featured these four idiots living out the seven deadly sins. When Pritchard is on the way to Yakuza to regain his pride by chopping off part of his finger, this pretty nice rock song comes on. It's about 67 minutes into the film. It doesn't have any lyrics or vocalists to speak of, so I can't use that. I've listened to every song they have on their sound track, and googled it a trillion times but cannot find an answer. Help please?

I'm trying to find a band I watched on youtube a while back, which doesn't seem to be in my history for whatever reason. It was a live performance on KEXP with a guy interviewing them a bit between songs. It was instrumental and very note-y, probably mathrock or postrock. One of the guitarists had curly hair and a very thin moustache, and at one point the interviewer asked them "what role does music theory play in your music, if any?", to which they responded something along the lines of 'not really, haha' and saying they just listen to bands they like and come up with parts by emulating them.
