I just realized that somebody at the local TV station probably actually genuinely thought of And the Children Shall Lead as one of their favorites, because my dad taped a marathon way back when and I remember that episode being one of the episodes on that tape. hosed up

Loving this TNG episode where Data Gets Mad at some Borg and tries to see if he has other emotions so he watches a lot of porn. But he doesn't so he goes to the holodeck and recreationally strangles Borg, even asking Geordi to override holodeck safety protocols so the Borg he strangles puts up more of a fight. If you watch the pilot, the Bajoran Wormhole is located (or more likely, produces) the Denorius Belt. This belt is a region of high ionic charge that fucks with ship systems, so people stay the hell out of it. It took the Federation setting up shop in the ruins of Terok Nor to find it. Without inquisitive humans around, you won't discover the wormhole, and Terrans of the mirror universe are far from inquisitive. Jesus Christ why do I know this....
