I don't mean to alarm anyone but Widdershins is a good and cool comic for handsome people. Really loving the way all the threads from the original Vincent/Eliza/Will chapter have woven into this extended denouement. Heckin' efficient.

I love how gosh darn likable everyone in Widdershins is. There isn't a single one of the protagonists that hasn't grown in some way and become increasingly charming.

Under other circumstances I might have been disappointed by how neatly and easily this chapter got wrapped up but gently caress it, these guys deserve a happy ending after the last arc  (and of course, I have no doubt things will get more exciting for them again in the near future)

Diaz deleted the blog post redoing the X-Men, I think. They made Kitty Pryde the leader because they're one of those Kitty fanboys, insisted since they're all mutants they need some kind of physical mutation even if it's just elf-ears, and decided Storm's new backstory should be that she was a child soldier turned African warlord. It's still funny how you could tell the moment Korra made them realize they liked muscle lesbians more than waifish amputees. At least Diaz hasn't recently tried to repost pinup drawings inspired by the fetish porn they were looking at at the time with a long essay about how feminist it is, I guess?

The color palettes on this re-designs just make them look really boring for me. Like, aside from that he only has like 2 faces and one body type per gender, there's just no attempt to try and match his coloring to fit the material he's working with, just the dark muted tones he uses for his poo poo comic.

I remember Dresden Codak exists once or twice a year, go read the couple of new pages that went up in the meantime, have absolutely no idea what nonsense is going on in the story but I like the way Diaz colours things.

Idk why you'd hope someone else could "adapt it better" when it could just be left to drift in its obscure niche for the rest of time. Even after Hollywood bleeds cape comic stories dry it's not like it'd be a welcome relief for them to shift gears to webcomics instead. (Which they won't do.)
