That's a terrible cat, entirely too wet and apparently toothless besides.
This, on the other hand, is a good cat who has made a friend.

Gorilla Salad posted:Most of the possums within 20km of the CBD are incredibly used to people. Well, being nocturnal, they're mainly used to drunken revellers who give them pizza, so I'm not surprised to see that one made its way on to a tram, the natural home for half-unconscious boozed up yobboes.

My old man came home! He was found by a neighbor, whose corgis found him and wanted to play with him (he was less than amused by this, despite being raised alongside a dopey greyhound). He got home, chugged about a liter of water, ate his weight in kibble, and has been alternating between sleeping and sitting as close as he can to me, if not on me. It's good to have him back. He's been real chatty since he got home, which is good for conversations like: "What are you?" *meow* "That's right, an idiot sandwich."

This thread is always good, but has been top friggin' notch the past month or so. Thank you all for the chill place. : D I has request today, though. My mother passed away abruptly on Monday after a fight with cancer and it's been harrowing getting everything ready for the funeral. Might I request some floof?

Aww this makes me so sad. My cat who passed away in 2012 flipped poo poo every time I changed my sheets. It was the most hilarious battle which ended with me giving up and him under the fitted sheet to take a nap. New cat gives no fucks about sheet changing. Only laundry-related thing he does give a gently caress about are used dryer sheets. I have to make sure they don't come home with me from the laundromat or the idiot will chew on them... RIP Sari (he's the cat in my avatar mashed up with an automatic stapler made in a thread 400 yrs ago)
