I must know your secrets.
I barely remember my first real Type 2 deck, but I know it had 4x Spiritmonger and 4x Pernicious Deed in it. I also recall having a lot of fun playing it.

I only started playing during Shadows over Innistrad so my memory of a card I thought was great was Diregraf Colossus. I opened it in my first draft (also my first time playing magic) and thought it was going to be a huge bomb.

3 Gempalm Incinerator
1 Goblin Grappler
4 Goblin Piledriver
2 Goblin Sharpshooter
4 Goblin Sledder
3 Goblin Taskmaster
4 Goblin Warchief
4 Siege-Gang Commander
3 Skirk Prospector
4 Sparksmith

3 Smother
3 Patriarch's Bidding

4 Bloodstained Mire
1 City of Brass
10 Mountain
3 Shadowblood Ridge
4 Swamp

Sideboard
2 Cabal Therapy
2 Dark Banishing
2 Flaring Pain
1 Smother
4 Starstorm
4 Sulfuric Vortex

Man, this was such a fun deck.

I think my favorite of all time is still Blue Skies, although IIRC it never really got above being a 2nd or 3rd tier deck at the time of MM/Invasion standard.

4 Spiketail Hatchling
4 Chimeric Idol
4 Rishadan Airship
4 Troublesome Spirit
4 Thwart
4 Foil
4 Opt
4 Gush
4 Wash Out
21 Island
3 Sky Diamond

The sideboard was stuff like Submerge, Withdraw, Rishadan Ports or Dust Bowls, Rising Waters, and Misdirection.

One City of Brass, three lovely filters, only two Sharpshooters, no Clickslither. From playing a lot of the Throwback standard I can tell you from experience this build is horrible.

No clickslither is by far the biggest issue with it, but thought i'd provide a verified list.

That's entirely dependent on how competitive your meta is. High level? Those will get destroyed. Fun/semi-competerive? Just fine.

Casual to high-powered casual. You can't really get a more defined tier system than that without going to competitive EDH and Sliver Tribal does not exist there.
